The seminars comprise 12 sessions. Each session has two hours duration and is composed of two parts: a presentation by the coordinator and/or student of its main topic(s), and an open discussion about the students’ ongoing research projects. The relevant materials for the session (articles, chapters, interviews, documentaries, films, images, maps, etc.) are distributed beforehand. The presentation of the topic should identify the main original questionings, methodologies, findings, conclusions, and dilemmas emerging from the materials. In the second moment, the open discussion, the students are invited to comment on the presentation, explore how and to what extent it contributed to their own research and share the results of their weekly work. The open discussion is moderated by the coordinator and/or the student who volunteered to prepare the presentation.
